Strode Theatre goes digital

Strode Theatre is closed and their plans for this season are on hold so they are going digital.

“We are promoting a ‘digital programme’ through our website,” said Robin Peters, manager of the theatre in Street.

“We will be pointing you in the direction of live-streams, recordings and videos from around the web – performances, concerts, exhibitions, talks and shows from the UK and around the world.

“They include past productions that have been filmed and released online and live-streams of events happening behind closed doors.”

The first four are:

Vincent Van Gogh – A New Way of Seeing, a free broadcast, Monday 30th March at 7pm.

One Man, Two Guvnors from the National Theatre via YouTube, Thursday 2nd April, 7pm.

Gandini Juggling: Smashed, challenging your perception of juggling with music and nostalgic film scenes, Friday 3rd April at 7pm.

Ninebarrow live streamed folk concert, Saturday 4th April, 7pm.

Go to the What’s On section of Strode Theatre’s website to find out how to view these performances.
