And Naomi Sharp of Wells had her share this week – albeit in Motor Cycle News rather than TV or the silver screen.
The national newspaper for bike fans gave her role in the Wells Coronavirus Network almost a complete page in their current edition.
Naomi coordinates the network’s prescription delivery service from pharmacies to the vulnerable and housebound in Wells.
“Many of these people might not have seen anyone for three weeks,” she told Motor Cycle News.
“Some have life-threatening conditions and without these prescriptions they would be in big trouble.
“This is something I can do for others. It’s really nice to help people who are obviously pleased to see you.
“It’s good for me to do it and when it is a lovely day it is no chore at all.”
