WCN provides vaccination marshals

WCN marshalls Siobhan Goodwin and Karen Deverell

Thirty-five volunteers from WCN acted as marshals to help with the vaccination programme at West Mendip Hospital last week.

The Matron of the hospital at Glastonbury, Ruth Diligent, and the Operations Managers Karen Taylor and Sharon Morgan asked Emma Leferve to pass on their thanks to the volunteers for their hard work.
“They were delighted by how we worked, and thanked everyone for their good humour (especially in the face of inclement weather conditions) and flexibility and patience,” said Emma.
“Everything flowed beautifully. I also spoke to the Clinical Director Dr Mike Pearce who was very grateful for the work you all put in.  “What a privilege it has been to be involved in this national programme and how wonderful it is to be helping people begin to see light at the end of a very dark and difficult year.”
